Sherie Bush is a former partner at an international law firm where her practice focused on commercial finance, capital markets, and non-profit governance and finance. A lifetime devotee to and patron of the arts, with a particular love for classical music, Sherie has served in many performing arts industry volunteer roles including immediate past-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra; Board Member, Multiverse Concert Series; Development Director, American Baroque Orchestra; Chairman of the Board and Development Director of the former Atlanta Lyric Theatre; Board of Directors, Georgia Academy of Music; Development Office Volunteer, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra; Development Director, American Baroque Orchestra; and Board of Directors of the former Monomoy Theatre in Chatham, MA.
Sherie graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where she double-majored in Political Science and Music (Instrument: solo piano) and from Emory University School of Law, where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the inaugural edition of the Emory Bankruptcy Law Journal. With her husband, Walter, Sherie currently splits her time between Chatham on Cape Cod and Boston, Massachusetts, promoting classical music and classical musicians in both locations.
Danielle Jeanloz moved to Cape Cod full-time in 2004 after a 25-year career at American Airlines in Sales and Marketing. Originally from Newton, MA, she has lived throughout the Northeast, Europe, and Canada. Danielle and her husband, Bob, purchased Maps of Antiquity and relocated it to Chatham, where they started Chatham Guest Rooms nearly 20 years ago. She has served as the Executive Director of the Chatham Chamber of Commerce and the Atwood Museum/Chatham Historical Society.
Danielle has volunteered on several town committees, including the Parade and Chatham 200 Committees. She recently served as president on the UU Chatham Board of Trustees and is currently a member of a national advisory board for Together Women Rise. She is excited about the vibrant energy CCCO brings to the community, along with the level of talent. She is delighted to help the organization gain even more visibility in the community.
Canadian violinist Dr. Sophia Szokolay is celebrated for her “stirring and singing tone” (Martha’s Vineyard Gazette), captivating audiences across Canada, the United States, and Europe. Based in Boston, she combines a vibrant performance schedule with a deep commitment to pedagogy and musical scholarship, teaching violin and chamber music at Brandeis University.
Sophia appears regularly with ensembles such as the Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra, Delirium Musicum, Palaver Strings, and A Far Cry. She is a passionate advocate for new music, having premiered works by György Kurtág, James Lee III, Shulamit Ran, and JörgWidmann.
This season, Sophia will give the North American premiere of her grandfather Sándor Szokolay’s Violin Concerto with the Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra, and the debut of Collective Voices, a set of new commissions for violin and piano exploring cultural identity and migration, at New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall.
Sophia earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from The New England Conservatory where she served as Donald Weilerstein's teaching assistant and taught an undergraduate course on Bartók’s string quartets. She previously studied at The Juilliard School with Catherine Cho and Miriam Fried.
Beyond music, she enjoys distance running and cycling, and is training for the 2026 Boston Marathon.
